Ingredients
Bath & Body Instructions:
Bath Gel:
For Bath Gel, add approx. 1/2 to no
more than 1oz. of soap safe fragrance oil to 1 gallon. Add skin safe
liquid soap dye in drops until desired color is achieved. Stir thoroughly but
gently. Pour into bottles with a funnel, or use our gallon jug pump.
*Caution: Heating
or adding too much fragrance oil can cause gel to become thinner!
Bath Salts: Add 2-12 drops of Soap & Lotion Safe
fragrance oil to 1 lb. of bath salts. Stir well. Add Skin Safe
Liquid Dye by the drop until the desired color is reached. Stir
well. Store in tightly capped jar.
Body & Hand Lotion:
For Lotion, add approx. 1/2 to 1oz. of Lotion
safe fragrance oil to 1 gallon. Add skin safe liquid soap dye in drops
until desired color is achieved. Stir thoroughly but gently. Since lotion is so
thick, you may need to heat the lotion slightly (set jug in sink of hot water,
keep under 100 degrees) to aid in pouring if using a funnel. It will thicken
back up once it cools. Or you can use a cake decorator squeeze funnel, or a
ziplock bag with a corner cut off if pouring cold. If making full gallon
batches, our gallon pumps are the easiest way to fill bottles.
Cylomethicone:

Dry Oil Body
Spray/Perfume: Mix in FO or EO at any dilution depending on desired strength
and recommended usage levels of FO or EO. Common dilution rates are 1
part FO/6 parts cyclo up to 1 part FO/3 parts cyclo.

After Bath/Shower Body
Oil: Mix in concentrations up to 50/50 with your favorite vegetable or
botanical oil (I use soybean oil) and add FO or EO to desired strength. Spray
on the skin after you shower while skin is still wet, then towel dry. Leaves
your skin feeling so silky smooth yet not greasy at all! (Similar to
Neutrogena Rain Bath Dry Oil Spray).

Linen/Pillow Spray & Room
Spray: Mix the same way you do for a body spray! Won’t leave linens wet and
doesn’t stain! (test on white linen to make sure the FO doesn’t stain tho!)

Hair: Use on hair as a
detangler & defrizzing agent (spray on wet hair). Spray on dry hair as a
shine serum! Or add to hair conditioners to impart more “slip” & detangling
properties!

Lotion: Add to lotions,
creams, body butters and lotion bars to give a silky feeling (add up to 1% to
pre-made lotion base, or 5% or more to lotion made from scratch).

Bath Oils, Salts &
Scrubs: Add to bath oils or scrubs for a silky less greasy feel. Use in
place of glycerin in bath salts to impart a silky feel and give salts a nice
sheen!

Insect Repellent Spray:
Just add your favorite blend of bug repellant EO’s such as Lemongrass,
Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Citronella, Cedarwood, Catnip, Tea Tree, Lavender,
etc. No nasty chemical smell like you get in commercial insect repellents!
Remember to
properly label your products per FDA instructions listing all ingredients by
their INCI names in order of predominance (in order of most to least in the
formula). INCI name for Cyclomethicone is… Cyclomethicone :)
Hair & Body Protein Mist: Add 1/4 to
no more than 1/2oz. of Lotion safe fragrance oil to 1 gallon of base. Add
liquid Bath & Body dye in drops until desired color is achieved. Stir
thoroughly. Pour into bottles with a funnel.
*Caution: Adding more than
the recommended amount of fragrance oil may cause separation. Shake well
before using!
This product has a milky
appearance so clouding is not an issue.
Lip & Body Balm Base:
Lip Balm: Just melt the base in
the microwave on a low setting until it liquefies completely. Add your flavor
oil (not fragrance oil!) and stir well (amount depends on manufacturer, average
use is 3-6% or 1/2 to 1oz per pound). Sweetner is optional with non-sweetened
flavor oils or essential oils (our Kiss Kwenchers flavor oils are pre-sweetened
for you). Pour into lip balm tubes, tins or pots, and allow to harden.
Lotion Bars: Just melt the base same as above, and add approx. 1 oz. of
a lotion safe fragrance oil per pound of base, and stir well. Pour into soap
bar mold or into push-up sticks and allow to harden. This base can also be
whipped and packaged in jars or tins as a body butter or balm.
Melt & Pour Soap (Microwave method):
In a microwave safe dish, melt the soap base in the microwave for several
minutes, depending on amount of base you are melting and the strength of your
microwave. Add Skin Safe liquid
dye (if desired) 1 drop at a time until desired color is reached. Add approximately 1/2 oz. Soap & Lotion Safe
fragrance oil per lb. of
base. Stir well. Pour carefully into your mold. When soap is
completely hardened, you can remove it from the mold and slice it.
Melt & Pour Soap (Stove Top Method):
In a sauce pan, melt the soap base over medium heat. When base is
completely melted, add Skin Safe liquid dye (if desired) 1 drop at a time until desired color
is reached. Add approximately 1/2 oz. Soap & Lotion Safe fragrance oil per lb. of base. Stir well. Pour carefully into your
mold. When soap is completely hardened, you can remove it from the mold
and slice it.
You MUST use skin safe dyes & fragrance oils in all bath & body
products!
All bath & body products will be sent with ingredient lists for labeling
purposes (FDA requirements).
